Note that before "9-11" these events usually drew 750 plus and 3,000 plus.  Due to militarization of the Fourth of July in Washington DC, we see a hundred at the first at Faragutt Square (since we were banned from the traditional site Lafayette Park across from the White House).  They then marched and joined a few hundred at the concert near the Lincoln Memorial.  Is this any way to celebrate the Declaration of Independence???

February 15, 2003 - United for Peace New York City Protest V. Iraq War
If it hadn't been 0 degrees wind chill there probably would have been 500,000 people there!

Looking North from 54th Street and First Avenue

Looking South from 53rd Street and First Avenue towards stage at 49th St. 100 odd young people later gathered at the corner on the right to provoke cops by shouting WHOSE STREETS, OUR STREETS but if cops reacted, I missed it.

Huge Valentines heart.

Couple hundred protesters block 42nd Street, behind Library, as police assemble a block away.
I was on the way to Greyhound Station and don't know what happened next.
