March ("Smoke-In") and Music Festival Note that before "9-11" these events usually drew 750 plus and 3,000 plus. Due to militarization of the Fourth of July in Washington DC, we see a hundred at the first at Faragutt Square (since we were banned from the traditional site Lafayette Park across from the White House). They then marched and joined a few hundred at the concert near the Lincoln Memorial. Is this any way to celebrate the Declaration of Independence??? |
